How it's made ?
L'Insolente is made of sustainable and recyclable materials and parts. The simplicity of assembly and design makes it a simple, recognisable car with an expressive design.
The frame is made of Osborn Metals® welded steel tubing, Chromoly 25CrMo4 and features cantilever suspensions, 14" motorbike wheels and integrated 3kW rear motors.
A set of repairable batteries
The tubular chassis also contains a set of repairable and recyclable Gouach batteries. They are designed, manufactured and assembled in France from recycled materials.
The main parts of L'Insolente
The various parts of the car are assembled quickly and easily using simple systems. The front end, the body, the floor and the front nose of the car are made of recyclable Arkema Helium resin.
The roof and door protectors are made from scrap boat sails to integrate the recycling of these elements. This type of material is easy to assemble, light and easy to repair by heat welding.
